A few things that have come up along the way, worth sharing regardless of whether this program is for you right now.
There's one I keep seeing: hard requirements are usually hard because nobody asked enough questions upfront. Once people actually start doing that, they get stuck far less.
Another one - a lot of people come in thinking their problem is a gap in business understanding. Usually it's not. It's guesswork, because nobody defined the requirements clearly in the first place. The fix isn't "learn the business side," it's a better way to scope the work.
And there's a whole layer of the job: risk, influence, positioning, that most technical people are never taught. That's most of what this actually is.
